Treasure Island Holiday Club

If you are thinking about using Treasure Island’s holiday club. This page outlines the basic information you will need to help you decide if we are the holiday club for your little ones!
Firstly we take children aged 4 – 10 years.
We will be holding the holiday club from Monday 26th July – Friday 3rd September, excluding weekends and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Morning sessions will run from 8.30-12.30 with the option of staying for lunch. Afternoon sessions will run from 1.30-5.30 we are also offering all day care if required. There are no minimum amount of times you can attend if you only wish to book one session this is no problem, equally if you require all day everyday we are here!
The fees are £16 per child, for the half day session. If you require your children to stay for lunch there is a £3 supplement to be paid.
Full days are available at the cost of £28 per child, this includes the cost of a hot lunch. We are offering sibling discount, please ask for further details.
We have two highly qualified members of staff who will be in charge of day to day sessions.
Gemma Hardwick already works part time at Treasure Island, she runs Markington Pre-School and has her Level 5 Foundation degree in Early Years.
Pippa Chapman also works part time at Treasure Island and by July will have just finished her Primary School teaching degree. Both Gemma and Pippa have an abundance of knowledge and skills that will keep your children entertained throughout their stay with us.
The staff ratio will be 1:5 we are looking at having no more than 15 children in anyone session.
They will be assisted by 2 other members of staff Rebecca Tuley and Laura Allen. Rebecca has worked at Treasure Island throughout her school life and is now studying at university for her teaching degree. Laura has also worked with us throughout her school and university life and after completing her degree in Psychology, has just finished her masters in MSc Memory and It’s Disorders.
We seek to offer your child a safe environment, in which they can enjoy the company of other children and enjoy the activities we have planned for them.

We have put together a welcome pack with information that includes:
- 1. A registration form. This needs to be completed and returned to Treasure Island before your child can attend the holiday club.
- 2. A continuing parental consent form covering outdoor visits. We take children on visits and local walks and need parental consent to do so. This needs to be completed and returned to us with the registration form.
If you would like an information pack please contact us, we can e-mail it through to you if that’s easier.
We have held in-depth discussions with Ofsted and although we don’t have to register we have done so voluntarily.
In signing the voluntary register we have to have basic policies and procedures in place, you will find a copy of these in the welcome pack.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Beth or Vicki
