Treasure Island

Treasure Island is a purpose built play centre and Party Venue designed to encourage children to exercise while they play - Exercise in Disguise. We also run regular special events, so be sure to come back to see what's on. We are based in Roecliffe, near York (North Yorkshire.)

You can slide down our huge "waterfall" slide, explore our pirate ship, dare to cross the rope bridge to our secret island, hide from pirates, hunt for treasure, and find games to play along the way.

For sportier children, we have an enclosed football arena complete with goal, targets and soft footballs for budding Soccer stars to practice their skills. All on a specially designed non-slip surface.

All activities for children need fuel, and Treasure Island's Cafe is just the ticket to keep your childs energy levels up. Our philosophy is good nutrition that children will want to eat and "No Chips". For more information on our Food, please see our Cafe

The Treasure Island soft play equipment is designed for young adventurers, aged 0-7yrs. However, we do allow older children to play after 1pm to enable you to play as family.

The equipment has been designed with your child’s safety in mind as well as the development of their imagination and fitness levels - and, of course, for FUN.  You can slide down our 2 lane slide, explore our pirate ship, hide from pirates and mermaids, hunt for treasure and dare you cross our rope bridge?  If you've still got the energy, why not try and complete some of the puzzles spread throughout the equipment.

We encourage adults to help their younger children to explore our pirate ship, and our special soft play baby and toddler areas allow you to relax while your little ones play safely.

From babes in arms to the most adventurous pirate or mermaid, Treasure Island has something for everyone.

 Come to Treasure Island for a children's party that's as exciting for the kids as it is Stress Free for the Adults. We take care of everything: Invitations, food, play and even the cake if you need us to. We’ll reserve tables near the front of the Café/playframe area so you are near to the children whilst they play.

Come and enjoy exclusive use of Treasure Island for 90 minutes of fun – after normal opening hours.

No need for cumbersome vests, our system works by allowing you to tag your opponent deactivating their phaser for 3- 5 seconds, we can use 8 different game settings.

Our Phasers are made from robust lightweight polycarbonate, for extra safety they must be operated using two hands. The clear plastic phaser glows red or green depending on your team.

 All scoring updated live to LED scoreboard & phaser

 Suitable for all ages from 5 years upwards but ideal for 7yrs- 13yrs

 Play in any light condition

 So what to do next: If you’d like to book a Laser Party ring us and pay your deposit & we’ll send you your invitations. At the time of confirming your numbers the week before your party we will also ask you to confirm your food choices & whether your party requires medals/certificates or party bags.

Our café provides everything you need for a relaxed lunch or tea.  We make all our own cakes and our coffee is second to none.  Our food is home-made from locally supplied produce wherever possible.

The Café seating is set in front of our play equipment with an overflow area on the decktop looking out towards the playframe.  The seating areas were designed to allow you to relax whilst keeping an eye on your children playing.

We aim to encourage healthy eating with a varied and wholesome menu for children and adults.  Baby food is always available or you can bring your own, other than that we do not allow food not purchased at Treasure Island to be consumed on the premises.

Special Dietary Requirements

We try to cater for all dietary requirements. If you are in doubt please contact us and we can make sure we have all the right or preferred products in for you.
So far we have catered for coeliacs, most allergies and intolerances, vegetarians, and vegans.
